Sofa, are you thinking of going with a hood pin setup? I'd potentially look into them myself; when I have taken mine up to some high speed (over 130) the hood moves around a bit which makes me a little nervous; not worried about the speed but the hood flip wouldn't be too cool.
*feel free to let me know what brand/kit you may be eyeballing for your mcr hood if you don't mind.

The center part by the rear vent (closest to the windshield) bounces around a bit but I think that's just because it's the thinnest there. Down by the main vents I would lean over the steering wheel to take a look. & it looked solid. So as of now, I'm not really shopping hood pins.

lol agreed! seems pretty solid, plus i dont want to cut into it.
i just noticed yesterday that my rear diffuser is almost sheared in half, right down the middle. i remember hitting a few things in DFW but damn! luckily its only fiberglass!
Page 3 needs some pics. look at the buffer trails i put on the front bumper corrected that before SN TX. I was prolly moving too quickly with the buffer, n00b!

Showed up to Slammed Enuff right after a 500 mile drive, i was sweating my *** off while wiping it down for the show the next day.

i kind of liked the roll-in being the day prior, i showed up at my leisure the next day for the show.

Even though i didn't take any awards home i received a ton of positive feedback about the car, especially the hood.
First stop the next morning was to fill up on fuel! $2.03 for 93 wasn't bad at all!

Stopped by downtown Fort Worth before heading back home to desolate NM/TX border. Many neck were snapped including a bike cop who stopped mid pedal to watch me go by.

Have to give it a proper cleaning inside & out for WekFest this weekend. Ill need warning signs for the paint looking so wet.

700+ miles to Houston for WekFest. i broke it up into 2 days since my parents live in San Antonio. Many potholes were dodged & some were taken on the chin.
IMG_3130 by sofa king, on Flickr
Gave it a through wash/wax before i left home. The more work done now makes it easier to clean after the miles are put on.

After 8 hours i finally made it to the first pit stop. San Antonio. my ears were ringing & my body still vibrating from the harsh ride. it was truly brutal & i still had 3 hours to Houston the next day. I say 3 hours, but i forgot about the unreal traffic there.

Buccee's Gas Station is a must stop if you're ever in Texas.
Went to the Mayday Garage Pre-meet the night before the show. It was something out of a movie. People lined down the street for miles & legit cars everywhere.

At the hotel after the meet...doesnt stand out at all...

The Weekend traffic wasn't so bad, living in a farm town its almost therapeutic cruising up & down major highways.

pull up to the entrance & you're immediately greeted with amazing cars.

Parked & made sure the Z had a hard time picking 1 color.

I've seen most of the cars here before, but never in person. Its a completely different experience, something photos simply can't capture.

1st place Z?! my cars good, but it aint that good. shocked & humbled.
I raced out of there before they realized they gave the award to the wrong dude! lol being on E, i had to stop and OVERPAY for fuel! **** Houston.

Car made it back to New Mexico with zero problems! Simply driving it to 1 show is more than i ever did with the S14. This is why i got the Z and its rewarding me with a good time on every trip i go on!
