Hi, thx for your compliment; I was thinking I should have said something about 370 or any future Z not having to be like 350, any more than 350 has to be like image for which I had link to the E type Jaguar. But no biggy.

    I have not posted much because I only purchased a Z Mar. 20, 2009!

I had started to look into it in 03, but soon discovered issues with it, and with '04. I almost was ready to buy an '05 in '06, but it fell through due cancellation of a program in which I was teaching, which delayed things some more.

Finally it seemed '08 was pretty worked out and cleaned up, while '09 was new bigger engine with oil overheating, and I found, locally through online search through Edmonds.com an '08 w/ 4k miles, used for weekend cruising for a year, owned by a police officer who had history with Z going back to the 240. Looked like he took care of it pretty well.

So, since then, I've been reading more about practical issues and post a comment here and there, but I really don't know much about cars so I doubt I'll post a lot more.

I am in the process of getting a custom shift knob made, it's been many weeks and should be done soon; I'll try to get pics of car and knob up then.
