the reason that you see few cars of this type is because it´s very expensive here, there are 2 prices only and one version 50,000 for m/t and 48,000 for a/t the only version is touring.

The wife wants to move to Mexico. She actually owns a house down there. All I can think about is how long until my Z is stolen and I will have to ride around in her (yawn) Maxima...

I drive my Z down there all the time, and leave it parked for hours, you'll be fine.

im from mexico city. currently in college. lived in mexico till i was 14, im 21 now, know about economy there, hung around upper middle class while i was there. lower class is tough, prices are not cheaper as most people believe, cars are more expensive and salaries are very bad distributed. lets just say minimum wage is about 150 pesos a day. that is 15 dollars a day. a rich kid my age over there drives from a bmw to a mercedez followed by 2 hummers "guardias" guards.

I agree with gus5199
Some of you guys that said wont take it cause they will steal your car.
You probably havent ever been to mexico your just throwing KAKA out there. You will be impressed that in Mexicali there is a BMW dealer a Mercedez benZ dealer and in closer places INfiniti and of course Nissan people will steal any where not just in mexico fellows.

Default Stereotypes

So many stereotypes in this thread, based on a few ghost towns just south of the border.

I live in a Country club in Yucatan near merida loaded with nice cars. I can forget my golf clubs outside and they will still be there next morning, so please spare me the steal jokes. In Montreal I got robbed 4 times, including once on the street directly.

And in Merida, you'll see much more nice cars than my home town of Montreal, Quebec or some US Cities. There is a Porsche Dealer, Merc dealer, BMW Dealer, Audi Dealer, Range Rover, Jaguar etc.

What is true is the poors are really poor, don't need to **** on them and stereotype on these poor people who had a hard life. Anyway

The mexicans owning Z are probably on spanish speaking websites. Just like the BMW owners they are in the Mexico BMW Owner club, not on bimmerfest or english based web sites. They actually track their car have meetings etc, and you'll be surprised that the people usually ricing their cars here are cheap and small cars, not the nice ones. anyway I'm just an expat (Canadian) but been here for 7 years.

My buddy drives a white 2009 Cayenne GTS and this is my 2007 Z Touring with only 15,000 Miles I just acquired, picture from the show room:

Totally true what Brawdo says, there are plenty of Z here, they are expensive to maintain for medium economic class people, but we try our best.
I have a 04 Base, Slotted & Drilled Rotors, Intake, magnaflow, nismo wing, etc.. and still not throwing so much crap as you do.
#respect guys..
