Here are a few friendly runs between some Revup's. Bob and Mike were kind enough to pick me up and take me up to AAM, so on the way up we shot some video. Both guys dyno'd 271/260-but Bob's car makes more TQ down low, and doesnt lose so much up top-where Mikes car has better midrange TQ. Turns out for some close racing even with a passenger(me). With no passengers they tell me they are a c*nts hair away from each other. Anyways enjoy....
Yeah..very close! Looks like having a passenger doesn't make a huge difference. You guys need to race a stock Z and see how much of an @$$ kicking you give. I am not volunteering here by any means

NICE vid.. I was behind the single exaust Z on the cruise up to AAM.. sounds great!
That was Nowells custom HKS muffler'd 3", the one in the video is Mikes AAm spec single 3"...but yes Nowell's exhaust is louder than Mikes and just as good sounding.
I sell my exhaust to Mike who goes on the dyno and posts a silly nice number...I toss some stupid low dyno number and I didn't get an invite for a couple beers...
Yea, i couldnt believe how loud Nowell's was when it was dynoing lol! Yea, the vids of Bert in Mikes 06 are on my ghetto ass camera. Its Hi-8, so I will have to buy the connector that hooks up to the pc and have bert upload those. We were going crazy fast lol
Crapital was so-so today. I realized how much of a track noob I am with RWD. Still need to find the perfect radial pressure/ rev launch. Best time I could get was a 13.43 at 104.5 spinning all the way through 1st. I KNOW I can get at least a 13.2 - 13.1 with a perfect launch. They were really hosing down the burnout spot with water, no way around the water box and I feel I didnt get good enough burn outs. But, theres all summer. Driving and launching honda's for 6 years has really hurt me, I can see that now. So hopefully next time it will be at M.I.R, capital's track was TERRIBLE!

13.4 is respectable. I talked to Bert and he said your 60ft time was 1.9. That's a great 60ft time.
You're on your way...you'll be at 13.1 before you know it...
Yea, I feel I got a good idea what to do next time. Im trying to avoid slicks. My goal is to hit a 13.1- 13.2 on Radials. We will see. All the other Z's there werent even hitting 13's. Someone told me one went a 12.6, but I didnt see it. Think they were fukin with me. Evo's werent breaking 13.4's, SRT-4's werent breaking 13.6's except one on slicks that went 12.7. The Honda Hatchbacks were out in force today running from 12.7's to 11.4's. Some new ZO6's were there putting out 11.5's, 11.2's...very impressive. a couple 6.0 GTO's were hitting mid to low 12's. Was there all day. Aside from the ****ty track, it was a nice day and a great time. Sadly the Z's werent really doing much, just looking dumb on Big rims and body kits
Damn man, you guys went out for beer after all? Haters!

Not feelin' the love...
My buzz is now wearing down after an afternoon nap, ha.This was today just me and my GF, not yesterday guys....
Bob did very respectable for his 1st time out, but he didnt beat Charles 1/4 time or trap<---which really shocked me seeing how he pulled Charles. Then again it wasnt till after the 1/4 mark when they ran. Good showing first time out Bob, work on pulling gears and you'll be fine....

Need some tuning to compensate for the 06's weight. More track time and I'll drop those numbers.
