Did you ask stupid questions? LOL. What part of post #3 did you miss?

"Why cant you give me a quote by the description over the phone?" would be a stupid Q, it gets asked 50X/day.

Welcome back to the Mid-A...

nah br0. I asked him when he had time, and if I could text him a picture of it. He said no, and he was his schedule was really busy. It seems like I don't have a choice but to use their service. I just don't like people who run a business and can't even be polite to their customers. I take it he's a friend of yours?

He really can't give you a true estimate from a cellphone picture and if he has a full schedule you're cutting into him getting other customers out the door on the time he quoted for them.

Call up tomorrow and ask if you can setup an appointment to have a wheel looked at to get an estimate for wheel repair done.

See how they handle that.

when I had a bent/cracked rim i called them up, got a really shitty attitude and was told it would take at-least 2 weeks to fix. Obviously I didnt get a good feeling and didnt have 2 weeks, so I went elsewhere. Obviously most can attest to their work being great, I just didn't get that far.

@jeffie, I wasn't asking for the price. I've read that it could cost 125+ per wheel. I'm cool with that, I just want it fixed.

Thanks for the advice. I live in bethesda so I definitely will call them before I go there. I wish I could drop it off but I don't have a jack or a four way to remove the wheel. That would be easier because they could take their time and I would pick it up when its ready.

After putting off the hour drive from VA to Bmore for nearly 2 months now and multiple failed attempts at other "wheel repair" aka "rape you and take your monies" shops, I finally manned up and drove there yesterday.

1.5 week turnaround is sucking the life out of my soul, but he says he can get the wheel back to 95% PLUS they gave me a stocker wheel to drive on for the duration.

I'll attest to the curt attitude over the phone, but when I met the guys, they were pretty helpful. Then again, I have *****...

Aside - my shoulda-been-1-hour-commute home took 4 hours. Thanks rain and crappy semi-drivers who jump medians.
