These guys are such d*cks. They run counter programming on everyone. They're showing the GSP/BJ Penn beatdown for free on the 11th to counter Shamrock/Diaz on Strikeforce.
I can't remember the last non-UFC event that didn't have a UFC or a free PPV shown on Spike at the same time. =/
not like it matters. generally the only people who even know about any other fight leagues, are real fight fans. who will just PVR whichever show they cant see. so its not like they are keeping people from watching other fights.
and UFC has nothing to protect. theyve already established themselves as top dog. and affliction proved, that nobody is going to take that away. so the counter programming is pretty d!ckish. the only reason UFC wants to prevent other shows, from going big. is because then they will have to start paying the fighters what theyre worth. if fighters can go to another venue, that will pay them a lot more money. then why would they fight for the UFC anymore??
