I don't think it was a "Wild" spinning backfist (as the vid says)........He clearly looked at the target (face) and landed the hit. Check it out in slow motion.

Edit: Wanted to add that Anderson was quoted saying that he saw that move in Tony Jaa's Ong Bak movie and thought it would be cool to use.
