Can Carwin put a glove on Lesnar's chin like he did to Gonzaga?
Can Lesnar take Carwin down and control him like he did Mir?
No need to make Carwin and Cain go first... this should be an interesting grudge match... Carwin doesn't like Lesnar and has thrown down the "pro wrestling" card just the same way Mir and Herring did...
I'm not really too exited about this fight. Carwin was getting beat up before he landed that shot to KO Gonzaga. I think this will be a easy GnP victory for Brock.

+1. I also remember carwin having a suspect chin. I think i remember him getting rocked in a few of his fights. Unless im thinking of someone else.
Carwin is the only guy in the UFC with bigger hands than Lesnar and probably the only guy in the heavyweight class that can rival his strength. Could be a good matchup.
I think Lesnar is going to stand with him. He will try to prove he isn't just gnp and if they doesn't work out in the first few minutes of the fight he will go for the gnp, and I don't think Carwin (or anyone really) could avoid/stop his takedowns.

If Lesnar gets hit by Carwin it could definitely be over quick. Guess we'll find out how solid his chin really is. If Lesnar does stand with him of course before laying on him
Brock had to have special gloves made as his "Lunch Boxes" as Dana White called them required a 3X which, until his entrance to mma, did not exist...Appearantly, Shane Carwin has "Ice Boxes" as his gloves are a whopping 5X ....
If Shane can sling those hammers in the right direction, and match up his wrestling ability to Brocks, it could be a quick exciting fight. Yes Brock is recognized as a more accomplished wrestler, but all Carwin would need to do is stuff the take down (I know...easier said than done).
I think if Carwin can keep them on their feet, he should have a good chance at a KO in the 1st round. I have a feeling Brock may try to "prove" something and keep the fight standing (which would be the beginning of the end) . Either way, I look forward to this fight since I will pay for the PPV at any chance to see Brock get beaten....

Well put man, I"m down to see Brock put in his place as well. And I think Shane has a good chance of doing it, not sure why everyone is doubting him. I'm not saying Brock doesn't have a chance but it should be a good fight regardless. Let's just hope he stands with Shane and doesn't smother him for minutes on end.
As much as I want to see Brock get KO'd, the chances are:
Bullrush single leg
hammerfist

Man I can see that happening but I really hope it doesn't it. That's his bread & butter. And after that he'll jump up, encourage the booing and talk about getting on top of his wife again..

Can't fault Brock.....If I were hittin' Sable, I'd be talkin' about it too!
Brock Lesnar, the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s massive heavyweight titleholder, was forced to withdraw Monday from his highly anticipated Nov. 21 title defense in Las Vegas against Shane Carwin.
UFC president Dana White confirmed the news to Yahoo! Sports. White said Lesnar has been ill for more than three-and-a-half weeks and unable to train. With the bout at UFC 106 less than a month away, Lesnar was forced to postpone the title defense.
“He said he’s never been this sick in his life,” White said. “He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it.”
White said he does not believe Lesnar had the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu.
The fight matched two of the biggest and most powerful heavyweights in the UFC. Lesnar (4-1), a former World Wrestling Entertainment star, was a junior college and NCAA Division I wrestling champion. Carwin is a former Division II national wrestling champion.
Both men weigh around 295 pounds and cut weight to make the heavyweight division’s 265-pound limit.
White said he is not sure when the fight will be rescheduled or if Carwin will still fight on the card.
“We’re still working everything out,” he said.
Carwin (11-0), who made several appearances in Los Angeles on Saturday to promote the fight, was clearly disappointed at getting the news.
“My heart just sank, as you can imagine,” Carwin said. “Hopefully, we’ll get it rescheduled soon.”
The co-feature at UFC 106 is set to be a light heavyweight bout between Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin, both among the company’s most popular fighters. That bout could be moved to main event status if White does not land a suitable opponent for Carwin for that date.
