I know who Buakaw is, and has been following his news. He is probably the best current muay thai fighter in the world, and the best fighter to represent muay thai in both sport and tradiational muay thai. His kick is just amazing.

he's the first Thai K-1 World Max champ and the first to win it twice. The K-1 rules really fukked up his style to be honest. He was extremely effective in the clinch in 2004 and 2005 before K-1 killed the clinch where you gotta throw one knee and then you gotta let him go. He can punch...but he's been rocked badly by punches. I'm rootin for him to win it this year though. Do you know who Yodsanklai Fairtex is? He's the winner of the Contender Asia and he's been trying to get at Buakaw for years...but its a fight that Buakaw's management team does NOT want to happen if they can help it. If you havent seen Yodsanklai, check him out, he's a southpaw, he's as technical as they get, he has a scary left roundhouse and he can box too. He did lose to Souwer under K1 rules but the fight should have not gone the extra round (I thought Yodsanklai won it there)

I got a few of Buakaw's fights in Thailand from back when he was at 140lbs.

Masato has somewhat but he did beat Buakaw (wether or not you agree with the result) I never liked Kraus..he's probably the biggest sore loser in K-1 Max. Did you see how he walked out of the ring after he lost to Buakaw in their third fight?

Masato got a gift and is K-1s poster boy. Never did care for Kraus too much either and wanted Andy to win when they fought the first time.

An awesome look at the various MT gyms across Thailand. Ive only been to the Fairtex gym in Pattaya and that place is AMAZING!! This is like a mini documentary on the 3 Thai fighters that fought on the Thailand vs. Nederlands card a few months back.
