Brandon Vera is fighting at 205 now? Where have I been?

After back-to-back losses at HW, he had to think about moving down. He turned down a fight with Machida at 205 for this weekend.

Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, and RTS all turned down fights with Vera for this weekend.

Vera stated that he's not done @ HW, he wants to fight Fabricio again and maybe others.

I really think he's better suited at LHW, and it further deepens the division.

Very true. He is a little heavyweight. No one is debating he has skills, but he just couldn't get anything done when he fought Tim Sylvia. Im interested to see how well he does at LHW.

I thought Renato Sobral was banned by UFC. I have high hopes for Branden Vera, so I hope he'll do well at 205 lbs. And of course, the Spider all the way against the Sand Man.

Its gonna be a great night of fights! Affliction has one of the best cards I've ever seen. I really hope Fedor puts Tim into retirement. Can't wait see Andrei tear it up again too

I am excited to see what Anderson can do at the LHW level. He has run out of opponents at MW so I guess its his only move at the moment. I'm glad Vera moved down a class, he should be much more suited there.
