Affliction... Where's the PPV Webcast?

I'm all about supporting companies who do it the right way. I went to check out their website and went to 'How to Watch' and low and behold, no mention of any kind of webcast.

Is there one I don't know about?

But this is a big mistake for Affliction if they don't have this setup. For such a 'hip' company, they sure missed this one.

The biggest fans of Fedor, Barnett, Babalu, etc. are the 'hardcore' guys who go on sherdog.com and get their MMA news somewhere other than www.UFC.com.

And a lot of them are outside of the US, UK and CAN.

Most hardcore MMA fans are young, 16-35 year olds, and probably know how to use bittorrent to get their shows the morning after. By putting up a webcast, you increase your target audience to any broadband-enabled user worldwide who can afford $40 on a visa.

Your TV-viewing audience is already compromised because of the UFC Fight Night on SpikeTV. What better way to make up that ground than to go after the viewers who don't get SpikeTV at all?

That's because everyone here is either in the US or CAN and can get PPV... that or they bootleg stuff and don't care if it's available for PPV online.

I got friends too in Australia & NZ who are die-hard MMA fans and they can't watch it.

Got on the sherdog boards and there's a number of threads from people all the way to Denmark who will not be able to get this telecast.

A bunch of my friends here only get 'basic' cable + OTA HD too. That means no PPV either. I've actually run UFC on Demand on a laptop hooked up to a big screen to show fights @ my friends house too.

I was surprised how fast Tim tapped. It didnt look very deep at all. Where the hell is Tim's submission defense at

i loved every second of it i would say every minute but i would be lying haha. I think tim was kinda taken by surprise. I knew fedor was gonna work him but wow i didnt have any idea it would be that fast.

He probably thought Fedor would let him jab and would by trying to 'feel each other out'.

He thought wrong lol.

Tim has good submission defense, but is a quick tapper. Fedor probably was crushing his trachea and it got a little too painful for him.
