Ultimate Fighter 8 finale on Dec. 13

The eighth season of "The Ultimate Fighter," which features prospect light heavyweights and lightweights coached by interim UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and former title-holder Frank Mir, debuts Sept. 17 on Spike TV, and the show's live finale is slated for Dec. 13.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed the live finale's date with Spike TV officials.

Like past events, the Dec. 13 event is tentatively scheduled to take place at The Palms Las Vegas.

Werdum totally got robbed.

Frank Mir is cool and all, and it would probably be more entertaining than Werdum/Big Nog anyway... but Werdum beat Gonzaga (who beat CroCop) & Vera (who beat Frank Mir).

So why is Mir leapfrogging these guys?

Oh yea... because you can't have Big Nog & Werdum coach TUF together without subtitles.

Yep, it comes down to marketability. Also, I still want to see Big Nog vs Werdum II

im sure the fights at the end will be decent. but as for the TUF 8 season. i forsee a fail. even though both guys are good fighters. they dont seem like they would be good coaches. but then again, tito really surprised me as a coach, on his run. guess ill have to wait and see.
