My mine guess is because KJ wanted more money than what the contract was for.

noons wanted more money, negotiations between noons camp and elitexc didnt work out. he wasnt satisfied with the fact that he was the champion but diaz was gonna get paid more.

Yeah Noons was just stripped of his title because of his refusal to even answer the phone for talks about possible fights.

Elite XC even said "...Noons has 2 more fights on his contract so we hope he's back fighting for us again soon....just not as our Champion"

Come on now we all saw this coming before it happen. I was surprised it didn't happen sooner. I guess Jard Shaw was trying to give KJ Noon more time.
