It seemed like Kimbo slipped and fell; he never really got to land any punches. Either that OR the fight was fixed.

I liked how after the fight Kimbo was pretty much apologizing for a sh*tty fight and told everyone to still come to the afterparty... I won 10 bucks off this fight too.. +1 for the dude in the pink hair..! LOL

This "fight" had to have been a work. I'm thinking that Kimbo bet the house against himself and that he along with the top dude at Elite XC are laughing their way to the bank. Elite XC was already having finanicial problems and Kimbo is supposed to be their cash cow. I think after the Thompson fight they saw that Kimbo was not going to be the next big thing in MMA so they sign this Shamrock fight and collect some money, then throw Shamrock a few bones to bow out at the last minute. Bring in some scrub who can boost his career with a "win" over Kimbo. Place the bets on the scrub, Kimbo takes the fall, and everyone on the inside gets paid in full.

That's my take on it.

Kimbo hasnt really fought anyone with experience... face it the guy is big and a street fighter. Yes he trains with Bas Rutten, but his ground game is garbage. Kimbo is an overrated fighter. Dont believe the hype.

Were they taking action on this fight since Shamrock was replaced on such sort notice?

After carefull review of that video Ive located the hit that put Kimbo down. It was a knee to the jaw. A weak knee at that. The guys knee was just hanging out there and Kimbos chin made love to it.

He could never survive Vandy or Rua knees. Kimbo has been exposed. I actually wanted to see a Lesnar/Kimbo fight since those are the 2 most hyped fighters out now but after seeing this, Lesnar would destroy Kimbo.

but no chance in hell is this what's up

Tom A was there, everyone that has any stake in Affliction/Elite XC wanted Kimbo to win that fight.

Work.

Or Kimbo has the weakest jaw in the history of heavyweight fighters. Or he has narcolepsy lol.

There's absolutely no power to that right hand. Seth was standing on some kind of one leg karate-kid crane position and threw a short right jab. Unless he was channeling Bruce Lee's one-inch punch I call work on this one.

NO! Seth is a trained fighter, not a street brawler! He looked like he was scared shitless and just throw that ghey as jab the caught kimbo in the chin. That was probably the gheyest and softest fight i've ever witnessed.

well maybe not as ghey as you blu blur!

Kimbo has 'training' as well and has probably been in more fights, bare knuckle, I believe, than the other guy.

The other guy was deemed as a UFC 'washout' (rephrased as a 'veteran').

Kimbo knows how to box and he also looked a lot stronger than the other guy. Just because a guy is trained doesn't equal everything.

I'm not arguing that it was a ghey fight, that's why I only quoted the part where you said the 'white boy' looked 'scared to fight'. Again, I think a lot of people should be scared to fight someone like kimbo and to think otherwise is just lame.

Maybe your just pussie but any man that steps in a fighting ring should not be scared of their opponent. If you walk into a fight scared your most likely going to lose unless you get a lucky punch like seth did. Its one thing being nervous, its another thing being scared!

I'm sure that in the entire history of the human race for fights that have been set-up, there have been plenty of contenders that have gone into fights 'scared'. YOu may be right in saying that they 'shouldn't' be scared but I'm sure it happens all the time, of course, you're not just going to hear about it.

Again, you're missing my point- the guy DID look scared and that's why I asked that if you had to fight somoene like Kimbo, wouldn't you be at least a little bit scared as well knownig the guys history for fighting in the most basic of conditions (no refs, no equipment, bare knuckle, back yards and alleys).

Seth probably knew he was gonna get beat-up but wanted to take the punishment for some money. Lord knows he got quite a bit to fill-in for the main contender.
