New toy!!! 2007 Yamaha Road Star Warrior
I have been looking at these bikes for a little over 2 years and I finally found one I could pull the trigger on. I just simply could not pass the deal up that the dealership was giving me! Here are a few pictures of the 1700 cc's of goodness!!
PS. The bike handles like a sport bike due to the R1 front end that the bike is built with ![]() ![]() ![]() aka the Hardley killer

Nice bike...I've always been a fan of those. Gotta get an exhaust though....I saw one at the dealer with dual shotgun pipes on it and it literally shot flames out the a$$ end.....it was awesome!!!

Nice bike. But that is a HUGE exhaust. But, I am sure that can be dealt with.

Personally, I prefer the Midnight version. The Warrior is the only cruiser I'd buy. Don't get "Harley" pipes. The bazooka is what makes the Warrior a Warrior. Without the bazooka, it's just another Harley-wanna-be.
Midnight: ![]() Just for the record, the sales guy fed you a line. The Warrior doesn't use R-1 forks. It does have inverted forks, like an R-1, but that's all they have in common. Anyways, nice choice. Like I said, the Warrior's the only cruiser I'd ever buy.

I like the black one. But the reason I *wouldn't* go that way is because I'd feel stupid for paying the extra money just for the difference in color. It's so much that I'd care about the money itself, just what it implies about my level of superficiality.

welcome to the club. you'll love the warrior. as an owner of an '02, get an exhaust and new bars and a tricky air ride. then save some money and get a 240 or 260 kit for it. soon you'll spend more time at stop lights answering questions on what you're riding then actually riding.

Yep I ordered some Vance&Hines big shots when I bought the bike, I was on the fence about ordering a PCIII with just an exhaust but after reading some more on rswarrior.com I am going to get a power commander as well. I want the yamaha TT bars and a VBAK next. I also ordered a fender eliminator. Eventually I would love to get a 260 kit but thats a bit down the line... I gotta admit even though this stuff still costs a decent penny its still a hella lot cheaper to mod this bike than it was my Z or Supra!
