Chopper frame !?!?!
hi everybody i´m looking forward to build my own first chopper.since i´m from germany i´ve no f+#king clue where to get a good and "cheap" frame.
i´m looking into the type of frame which was used on the OCC show, where they build coddy´s old school bike.surched on ebay. found some pretty sweet frames.prices where also very cheap.so what could you guys reconsider?get one of those rolling chasis from ebay or should i buy the frame else where? thx in advance

I don't think being from Germany puts you at much of a disadvantage because most Americans don't know where to buy motorcycle frames either!

Just look for an old bike that isn't running anymore, offer the owner a few hundred to take it off their hands and use the frame + any other parts you want.

I'm hoping to do a Bobber project shortly. I've been looking at Ebay and some magazines. Seems to me that any ebay frame with adequate tubing used would be sufficient for your project. If you're going to piece it together you can expect to do some welding to it. If you're worried about the welds you can have them rewelded, but personally I'd just inspect them and be sure there was good penetration to the tubing.
