State police said the drivers of both motorcycles died. They are being identified as 33-year-old Robert Ramkissoon of Windsor and 34-year-old Kevin Williams of East Hartford. A passenger on one of the motorcycle is hospitalized with serious head and back injuries.

Authorities said four other people died in car accidents in Connecticut over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. .

he was 22 i believe.. nah he wasn't on the boards...

the story i am getting is he got clipped from behind from another biker(who died from his head being decapitated) it was a group of 15 bikes and they were ahead.. when he fell he got ran over by a truck

more details:

- they just left a funeral for a couple bikers killed last week
- the R6 and passenger took off
- the R1 was following real close in the lft lane.. tap the R6 in the back
- the R6 went into the gaurd rail
- R1 got thrown under the truck
- R6 guys head fell off
- the girl on the back of the R6 got thrown in the bushes
- they had no helmets
- they got it on video

That really sucks, but according to your new details it was entirely preventable.

If you know the families, do something to help them out in this time. It has to be hard on them.

yeah i'm really disturbed about the full details of the crash.. as i am a very big advocate of wearing gear and always wear gear..

1) i don't get why not wearing a helmet

that sucks glad i got some details about what happened. Sucks i got stuck in the damn traffic last night. I should have gotten off at exit 22 but continued into the malee. Bikers being stupid and having fun ends in tragedy. There is no reason in God's name that the bikers should have ever touched.

No i was in the car coming back from Philly. 1 hr to travel 1.5 miles b/c of this accident. The billboards were saying I-91 closed at rocky hill exit 23-24. I thought you just couldnt take the exits, my girl took it as I 91 was closed. Well she was correct and we were stuck from 10:30 until 11:45. Stupid me.

It sucks you happened to meet this person just days before his last day. Next time your out send me a text and if i have the bike out i'll respond asking for more details.

havn't seen it.. and not sure if its been erased either.. the guy who was riding behind them said it was gruesome.. and i can imagine too.. seeing someone's head hit a guard rail and come clean off infront of you.. that has to be terrifying
