Wow awesome pics and thanks for sharing! +1 on a write up on the projector retro fit. I'm torn between a Daytona 675 and a K6 and this just made it a harder decision....

EDIT: is there a mod list?

Thanks for all the compliments

Mod list:
Yoshimura TRC Titanium Slip on
BMC Race Filter
Power Commander III
Motovation Titanium Weighted Bar Ends
Smoked Front Turn Signals
TSX Retro-Fit Mod with 6k HID (my Fav mod especially when riding at night and i am not blinding people with a blob of light.)
Tapeworks Reflective Rim tape (silver)
SET Valve Removed
Custom GSXR Decal

And yes the Chain is for Security hahahah
Still working on the strips, i use my bike mostly for work, and rarely do i get to ride for leisure. I got a baby boy on the way so i'm busy doing other things in preparation.

The Stacked lights can be a bit odd, i suppose it's one of those "you either like it or don't" I know of one guy on another forum who used the projector off a 350z which was pretty slick, but the TSX Projector is really nice and sized to match the lower hi-beam projector. Plus the stock lighting on bikes sucks balls so this was a huge improvement in looks and functionality overall. Plus it is nice to know that only a handful of people will have this mod. I know of only one other rider in the Northern VA area to have this mod, or at least that i know of. I am sure there are maybe a couple of people in MD but i have yet to see.

I am essentially done for the moment, the last couple of things i will probably try to get by the end of the season will be Levers and Stainless Steel Brake lines, get my suspension setup.

Winter Project - i am doing some R&D to make Custom Fairings and tail fairing (either fiberglass or Carbon Fiber)for my 600. It seems nowadays anyone can just buy a set of Racing plastics and call it a day. I want to create something so that my 600 can stick out differently then looking like the typical out of the showroom bike.

The Daytona 675 is sick, and i rarely see those bikes around. If you are getting the K6 which CC are you looking at 600 or 750.

Looking for a 600. This will be my 2nd bike and haven't been riding for super long and don't think I'll ever step past the 600's. I think so many people underestimate them and automatically want to jump on a liter bike thinking they'll be faster when the reality is they just need to learn how to ride the bike to it's limit. I think maybe 10% of riders, if that, actually push the bikes to the limits.

^I couldn't agree more. This Oct marks my 2 years into riding, and i am now just pushing myself to be a bit more ballsy to really utilize the the bikes ability such as leaning harder, hard braking under extreme situations, stuff like that. I have gone fast before (i.e. straight line acceleration) and personally it is not all that. I prefer to be a much smoother/technical rider when it comes to being on two wheels. A lot of noobs think they can ride just because they can go 100 mph in a straight line. Its not so much the bike is fast its the rider who is fast and can control the machine.

the K6 GSXR600 is the perfect bike for me simply for its ergonomics to my body size. The Honda just didn't feel right for me, and the yamaha was to tall for me. I didn't bother with Kawasaki. So Suzuki it was and i am happy with that decision and to stick with them for a long time.

However once i have put some mileage under me, i am definitely bumping up to a 750, Size of the 600 with a bit more power under the 1000 capability and is an all around great bike. Whats not to love about that bike. But i probably won't be bumping up to that for another year or 2. I want to really use up all that my 600 has to offer.

How would you personally match the bikes to the size of the rider IE: Suzuki is for the average size guy, etc.

I've had multiple 600's, and also agree that MOST people in the world do absolutely not NEED more than 600cc's. But, I've had an F4i since 2002, and have more than 40,000 miles on it, will be pushing 50K by end year. That's track, street, commute, and mostly long twisty road trips. And I can tell you first hand I've ridden it to it's potential, I do WANT more than 600cc's at my throttle hand, but for different reasons than the majority think. Don't get me wrong, the 600 is perfect for the track and I'll never take a liter to the track, I want the liter for backroad rides and commuting, just sick and tired of wringing the thing out to the redline to get the amount of power produced that I want, it gets old after awhile. Cannot wait to just have to twist the throttle in 3rd and have more than enough pop to get passed some phuckin minivan douchebag on the interstate or on a backroad. I went on a 1500 mile long trip in 60 hours, one of those ironass rides, I to this second cannot feel the ends of two of my fingers due to nerve damage, partly from starting the trip with new gloves, but also due to constantly having to ride the red all the time too. So, no, most do not need a 600, but it is nice to have the liter for the right reasons

You absolutely can not categorize bikes in that way. The bikes all have their specs as far as seat height, rake, etc, but everyone of us has different leg lengths, arm lengths, inseams, hand sizes, etc. The only way to know is to go to the dealership (or friends if available) and sit on the bikes. If you can ride before buying that is even better. This way you can see how YOU feel on the bike. All of the 600R bikes are about the same as far as performance goes, so the only difference is how you feel, and the looks of the bike.

nicoG35, great looking bike!!! Ride safe!

I concur with RxZ. I chose my bike based solely on comfort, street usability, potential track whore, all around decent looks basically what i felt that would fit me like a glove. Suzuki just coincidently(sp) has one of the lower seat heights for shorter people much like myself (31.5 i believe). I am 5'5" with my A* boots with a short inseam Plus i also shaved the seat(just recently) on my bike so i could feel a bit more comfortable knowing i had more ground clearance.

Honda was my original choice but the comfort of sitting on it was not the greatest, and the Yamaha i could only sit somewhat comfortable on the 03 r6 model and anything after that i couldn't even touch the ground.

Thanks for the compliment RxZ,

i have never riden a honda but i heard that it is very confortable also. I do own the rest of the 600s, 07 R6 which is a pain in the butt for everyday riding. seat is very tall and riding position is more aimed to track. however it is very easy to control that bike at the twistys. 07 Zx6r it very simlar to the r6 with some good addition. braking seems to be better and also clutch angament seems to be better. last but not least my gsxr600 it is very streetable bike with instant power and a great midrange. very confortable bike. power wheelies in 1 and 2 gears. very cool bike this is my. i also have a Duc but is not as fun to ride as these 600s.
