Brand Spanking New 100th Anniversary Harley

It's a Sportster 883, with 22 miles on it - Black/Brushed Aluminum package. What is the most everyone thinks I could sell it for?

Low mileage (about 5K) go for under $5K. I'd say about $6K max, if you get the right buyer.

Wisconsin is where the main plant is right? Only place in the US where there are more Harley's than York PA. When was the anniversary year? Never seen a newer Harley go for less than 12K around here - guys around here ride in the snow.

You should sell it to me for $100, because I'm cool.

I would think that it is quite rare to find a 2003 100th Anniversary Harley Sportster with no miles on it - and the 105th Anniversary party is just about to take place here in Milwaukee....

I would hope that this bike should command a premium.

Any idea how many SEs were sold?

The sportster doesn't really have much of a market and tend to go for cheap, my guess is ebay would be your best bet, you need to find a collector that doesn't have one already.

Not a limited production bike... they made as many as they could sell. Like I said, they going for less than $5K with less than 5K miles on them.

Keep in mind too... it's an 883 Sporty. That's the lowest model Harley made. Nothing is ever gonna make it a collectible bike.

I actually won it in a contest in '03, and it sat in my garage. I don't have a motorcycle license, don't have an interest in getting one, and the bike is way too small for me regardless. I should have sold it long ago.

Nice!!! Free bikes are always good....I've never been so lucky. It would be a very decent bike to learn on though. Good luck in selling it.....at least you know even if you sell it for $50 you're not taking a loss

Yes - I kept it on a maintenance charger, kept the fuel stabilized, started it and ran it on average once a season, and it started right up again this last time I took it out for a wash. It's in perfect condition.
