found one, need advice.

so i found a nice bike in town, sounds like a good deal. its a mint showroom, condition 2004 honda VFR800, red and black. its got 400 miles on it. the owner is the original owner, bought it when he lived in chicago, moved down here and never drove it again, it still hasnt even had its first service. im going to check it out tomorrow but it sounds like im gonna get it. he only wants 4700 for it, a helmet, a jacket, and battery tender.

sound like a decent first learner bike?

very nice bikes, but be warned service cost on them are a bit high. find out if it has vtec or not and get a quote from a dealership for a valve adjustment for future reference

They rarely invite me out with them so he should be ok.

I'm on my 4th street bike and only had one issue with the side stand not going into place, there's nothing like getting off your bike, walking away, only to see out of the corner of your eye the bike rolling forward a few inches before going SMASH! into the ground =(
