Just picked up a new toy

2008 Honda CBR600RR in Graffiti black. Looks fantastic and rides smooth. Just can't wait til i can really open her up after the break in is over. This is my third bike.

Sorry for the quality on the picture it is a camera phone. Haven't had a chance to get some better quality ones.

You already rode it once and its not broke in ???? My last two new bikes hit the limiter within the first mile, the last bike made 8 passes down the drag strip and had less than 50 miles when i got it home that night.

Just ride it, seat the rings in properly and change the oil.

Yeah, I always break in my bikes/cars by the book....no revs until it's time. It's the best way to ensure you won't have issues, especially with how high revving today's bikes are.

As for the bike, that thing looks sweet in all black like that. That color and the white are my faves for the RR.

Haha i can agree with that but my buddy owns the dealership so i got it with lo jack included for about 2k less than sticker.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. As for the break in period, i ride it quite a bit so it will only take me a few weeks to get to that 600 mile mark. I'm gonna do it right since i'll have this one for awhile.

i have an 07 dont worry you will be impressed. and the electronic dampener is the ****

and a hard break in is one thing but taking it straight to the strip or reving it out right away is just a bad idea
