Default 2WD Yamaha R1 ridden

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Ne...aha-r1-ridden/

MCN is the only publication in the world to have ridden the Ohlins two-wheel-drive Yamaha R1. Watch the video for a tech explaination of the 2WD system and see MCN's Trevor Franklin take a test ride on the revolutionary machine at the remote Karlskoga track in Sweden.

interesting but not really practical in my opinion, the tires out there now and the suspension makes a bike hug the road good enough imo, dont think it would even be worth the money to even consider getting one or yamaha mass producing it...

This will be awesome on a dirt bike or euro bike.

The main thing they need to figure out how to do is how to make tires last longer and stick better.

This has been done on dirt bikes and it makes more sense in their applications vs. a road bike. Interesting idea, though.
