The ad:

Weight 143 kg - 170 hp - max. V over 300 km/h

In its simple perfection this Ducati represents a unique combination of noblesse, elegance and lightness which establishes a felicitous symbiosis of technical high performance and timeless beauty as well.

Guaranteed unique
Absolutely flawless and mint condition (just a few km on tacho) 90 degree-V/2 engine tuned up to 1037 ccm by one of the most famous specialists for motorbike tuning in Germany - The extraordinary low weight reached with highest possible use of carbon fibre and titanium.

The bike is equipped with: special 6-speed-racing-gearbox from Ducati, chassis form CarboTech - fairing and oil cooler from Febur - braking systems from Beringer - shock absorbers from Oehlins - full titanium exhaust pipe system from Moto Corse - racing suspension unit from Wilbers - rims from BlackstoneTec - AIM HXL high-performance-digital- dash - TSS 48-teeth-multiple-disc-antihopping-dry-clutch and much more.

DUCATI 999S Full Carbon (from the test report of EUROSPORT MotorMagazin where German champion Dirk Raudies had the chance to test the bike on the circuit.)

Heart of the Motorbike is the high tuned 90 degree-V/2 1037 ccm engine with a 6-gear racing transmission from Ducati. The Motorbike weighs just 143 kg. This extraordinary low weight was realised with the two light materials carbon and titanium. With an engine output of 170 hp it makes about 840 gr p/hp related to the dry weight of the Ducati 999S Full Carbon which is a ratio where most superbike owners can only dream from. The Motorbike is speeding up from 0 - 100 km in less than 3 seconds and from 0 - 200 km in approx. 7 seconds. Maximum velocity is over 300 km/h. All tuning works are made by BeFaster, Hannover one of the most famous tuning specialist for Motorbike tuning in Germany.

The bike has been built bit by bit in countless hours of handicraft upon a full carbon frame from Carbotech whose design and manual procession fulfills even highest demands. Further parts in full carbon are the tank and fairing from Febur, the rims from Blackstonetec. Other parts have been completely new designed in full carbon and made in handiraft such as the airbox including the complete aeraition system, part of the front fairing, the complete seat including its whole sub structure and many many other details.

All other parts which usually are made out of steel, metal or aluminum such as axes, bolts, all screws, washers in short all parts except the motor are made in single-unit production in titanium.

The bike is equipped with: special 6-speed-racing-gearbox from Ducati, chassis form CarboTech - fairing and oil cooler from Febur – braking systems from Beringer - shock absorbers from Oehlins - full titanium exhaust pipe system from Moto Corse - racing suspension unit from Wilbers - rims from BlackstoneTec - AIM HXL high-performance-digital- dash - TSS 48-teeth-multiple-disc-antihopping-dry-clutch and much more

Special efforts has been brought to the optical characteristic of this exceeding motorbike. Frame, fairing, tank, wing as well as the carbon rims and all other carbon parts are held in the same carbon tone. Parts which are not in full carbon such as the wing have received an identical handmade carbon coating. The dark and matt carbon has been honed and polished part by part and then made to high gloss with a high quality multiple lacquering.

The outcome is a Masterpiece. A combination of noblesse, elegance and lightness which establishes a felicitous symbiosis of technical high performance and timeless beauty as well. In its simple perfection the bike represents a collector’s item with technical top performance.

The motorbike is guaranteed unique and as a matter of course it is in an absolutely flawless and mint condition (just a few km on tacho).

At the Intermot trade show in Cologne/Germay the Bike won the 1st price as best sports bike. Currently the motorbike is shown at an exposition in Hannover, Northern Germany.

Nice bike and all, but $185K? The price is the most jaw dropping aspect of that bike!

170hp @ 9400rpm is weak

315lbs is pretty sick for dry weight, about 50lbs lighter then the higher powered 1000cc
Japanese bikes

Outside of bragging rights and the extra penis size, the price tag just doesn't add up. =(

I gotta agree with you on this one. Yes, its a nice looking bike. But $185,000.00 ? Give me a break, that's ridiculous.

I see this going to the UAE.

There's always a market for expensive, fancy transportation produced in limited numbers.

315 is also about 100lbs lighter than that bike originally came dry.

It's a pretty nice bike, I'd be opting for some better tires.

For $185,000,

you can purchase a Lamborghini MURCIELAGO,

and for about $150,000 less, I would much rather buy the MV AUGUSTA from the Dark Knight which looks 1000000 times better than this.

so hmm, a nice little gallardo and an MV or this

I'm hoping this bike was built up a few years ago, because the better looking, more powerful, single-sided swingarm 1098/1198 Duc should have been the basis for this bike.
