Heard this on WBZ 1030 Radio in Boston today. They said the demand for Honda bikes has become very low and this will be the last year they will make them in the US.
Radio stations are good at giving news? Id have to see a good source, only way I could see Honda stop making bikes is if Obamas new smog crap is making them say F it.
Hard to believe no more goldwings or shadows, CBRs are only one of the many good selling bikes at least in the past, IMO Id never own a new CBR I think they look like total ****.
I was never really that attracted to CBRs anyway...but they are a blast to ride. A bit easier to handle imo.
+1 .. i would never purchase one, but i love beating the sh!t out of my buddies 600RR .. that reminds me.. he bought a brand new battery last year from cycle gear for $180 and the clock drained it since he never rode it.. the battery won't hold a charge.. batterymart.com has them for $54

Get your CBR's now I guess
I think this is the key phrase. Although I didn't know they had a bike pant in the US. I doubt they would stop selling them, honda sells more bikes then cars.
hay guais, just heard that there wont be any suzuki, honda, yamaha or ducati produced ever again. buy them while you can.
^Wow you're kind of a douche.
I'm just relaying what I heard on the news. I find it hard to believe they would air a random comment about motorcycles without some proof. Around Boston WBZ 1030 is probably the biggest news stations in the area.
Someone pointed out "Make"
I'm not sure if they meant "make" as in actual production or if they meant they are going to stop selling them in the US.
Also sidenote, Toyota hasn't been profitable in the US for years but you see those everywhere to. I was shocked about this. They keep there doors open because it would be worse off completely shut down.
So my point is just because you see them everywhere, they might not be selling the newer models or getting the prices they want for them or whatever. Who knows
I agree with you I see them all over the place too. But like I said why would a News Station make a comment about that, its kind of random without any direct facts backing it up.

Our local radio station said MJ has died then went on about how he'll be missed, then after one song, he came back saying how sorry he was and that he wasn't dead but was in intensive care, then after another song came back saying, ok now hes dead.
