I got the bike with fairing damage right side and a salvage title because of it for 5995. Even with a salvage title the bike should be worth 9-10k. The tank alone retails for 2499. So you can imagine how a set of damaged fairings can basically total a ducati. Gonna replace the farings pretty soon. It rides like a dream.
Thanks dudes. Ive spent a good amount of time with this bike now and it just gets better and better. The quality of the parts and the ride is excellent. I would like to ride a 1098 one day to see the difference as I have heard that although it performs better, the parts are not as nice because they had to cut costs to try and make a more affordable bike. I want to give Ducati some more time to develop the 1098 model bikes before i would grab one.
