This next one is starting out on a kinda rough backroad, at the 2nd gear shift the front wanted to come up, later in the video notice the little deer. Thankfully if any were hit, the firetruck was already on the way.
I know its fun in that regard, but perhaps you missed my point.
I had fun ragging the Z around backroads NA keeping revs at 5500rpm's + and railing redline coming out. Same with my SV, its slow, but Im always revving the p!ss out of it, and the experience makes you feel like your getting more out of it, because you have to if you want to go fast.
If I even had the skill to (I dont) I wouldnt want to come out of a corner near redline on a liter bike on the street with all that power, not many would last long.
But absolutely the power everywhere is AWESOME, I had a chance to ride a new R1 and loved it, I knew immediately why people call 600's buzzy after 1 min of riding it. One day...
For street riding it sucks HAVING to rev the piss out of your bike. I hate it.
With the 1000s if you want, you can take the rpms high. When I'm really on the bike I'll take the rpms higher, but there's not a lot of roads I'm willing to do that since that's just 1st gear.
He saw the deer at around 72mph, by the time he got to it he was in the 30s so it worked out well. there was 2 of them but the 1st one didn't get picked up on the camera just the 2nd one.
Roads were millersville/crownsville
If I were to do a track bike with out a doubt a 600 would be my first pick, however for street, no way in hell would I ever go back. No way no how. Never again.
Your two boys in front you in the beginning had me rolling with their tuck and body positioning. Counter leaning your body in a high speed turn
I know, I know. I guess they weren't comfortable with the wind blast at 100+mph around the sweepers. Why do you think I caught them so fast. I didn't want to pass because that would defeat the purpose of the vid.

Why were they riding so fast like that? If I was in that group I would end up dropping back about 1/4 mile for safety reasons.
Group rides for me = fial. 2 maybe 3 people tops any more and it just gets to be too much.
We were the only 3 during that run(beginning). The rest of the group stayed back. It's an empty business park that circles around. No traffic at all. The rest during the high speed run was spread out pretty well. That's why you really didn't see any other bikes around when I got up to speed. Even as fast as I was going, I couldn't catch the guys up front.
