Track rules?
I'm taking my Z to the track for the test and tune on wensday night. I expect to break into the 12's. What stuff do I need so that they will not kick me off of the track after my first run (helmet,harness...). Never dragged a car before and have no idea what to expect.

For track driving, you generally need only a helmet rated SA-95 or better, long cotton pants, long sleeve shirt, and lace-up shoes. As long as you're not leaking oil or coolant, you should be all set. Many tracks also have sound level restrictions, so open exhausts etc. can get you kicked off.
It sounds like you're talking about a dragstrip, however, so I'm not sure what the requirements might be. Probably just a helmet.

I have never dragged a car before but just in talking with the guys at AA (that's Altered Atmosphere...NOT Alcoholics Anonymous), I guess when you get into the 10's (or was it 11's?) you need a five point harness and if you are in the 9's you need a special roll cage.
