Hi Guys.
For those of you in the northeast, I thought you might be interested in this. We're hosting a high performance driving school at Tremblant (about an hour and a half north of Montreal). It's held by the BMW Club of Quebec, but 350Z owners are very welcome! Here's the announcement:
THE EVENT
The Quebec and Ottawa Chapters of the BMW Club of Canada are proud to announce a 2-day Driver's School at the world-class Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant on September 29 & 30, 2003. For your convenience, we will offer on-line registration through our website (
www.clubbmw.ca), or if you prefer to do it the old fashioned way, you can download and print out a copy of the registration form from the website and mail it in along with the payment.
THE TRACK
Nestled in the splendor of the Laurentian Mountains, Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant is located 90 miles northwest of Montréal and connected by an expressway. The picturesque and twisty 15-corner, 2.56 mile circuit was completely rebuilt and upgraded in 2001. With new pavement all the way around, the width of the track has increased from 28 to 36 feet, and run-off areas have been added or rebuilt. Corners have been smoothed for safety purposes, but the challenging nature of the track remains. Track refurbishing also included enlarged pits and a new pit entrance, along with a revamping of the officials/media center. The tower, cafeteria and washrooms have all been extensively upgraded and enlarged where needed.
