In the first 100 ft the car craped out again. I dont know what exactly happened so ill let them explain..

we are not sure what happend, but the car did not behave well,
After a 4 hour rain delay, we got to the line. we toned down the NOS amount, and had installed better pistons, rings, and checked the engine over. something blew... Mabey a Rod... their is a hole in the oil pan... more info monday after we compleate the surgery... Sorry for the mess on the Track....again

so did you guys use the same rods from last blown engine?
I thought you need to "break-in" the pistons/rings after a rebuild? at least that's what I was told... maybe the rings needs to be set, but it probably has nothing to do with engine blown again. |
