You running slicks? ET Streets?

What were you running that would have caught you in the 1320?

BFG G-Force Drag Radials @ 25 psi launching @ 3K. Some tire spin but really pretty good traction. I would think more like high 12s in the quarter mile not low 13s ???

I was running a LS1 and he didn't catch me ...... he lost

Probably right around a 13.0-13.1. Here is my timeslip from my old LS1 days and you can compare. Very similar, you're just a little slower in the 1/8th. I don't know, maybe you could have sqeaked a 12.95 or something. Go to a 1/4 mile track! I assume you're going to Ennis on the 24th with the G35's? I am gonna go.

This was in the dead of summer.

that seems like a really low 1/8 mile trap for a 100+rwhp gain since I trap right around 80 bone stock...nice short time and 1/8 time though...

I Agree with Mr. head...... 8.3 at 83mph should net u a low 13's at 104-106mph. How much boost are u running? I think u shoyld be trapping more than 83 mph. Ur 60ft is awsome so the problem was from ur car not u.

Are the drag radials the reason your mph is low in the 8th?? sorry if i am being stupid here , i have always had problems understanding the mph per time factor. in my old gsr with 55 shot zex i ran a 9.8 at 81.5mph, and i know it isn't as fast as the procharger z and the mph is almost the same. any ideas. oh also my 60' was prob crap i don't remember since i didn't even hit the nitrous till 2nd. but even then i would think that my mph would be that close.

Thats what my old LT1 Z28 ran with just headers and catback, plus it trapped higher mph. I would have expected more from a supercharger. My 02 Formula is trapping over 86 mph.

well all I can say is I raced last night and finally broke into the 12's ..... 12.952.
I dyno'd it today and was still showing 350 rwhp.

Maybe the weight of the car 3250 and my fat *** 250 for a total of 3500 pounds is the problem

But really I am very happy with the car and the ATI Procharger. There were a lot of LS1's, LT1's, SC Cobra's, and other supposedly fast american muscles cars out at Ennis last night that never got close to even low 13's

I stand corrected!!!

I'm very impressed...Let my skinny a$$ drive it and I'll get you some 110mph traps.

What were LS1s trapping last night?

Congrats on the 12s club!

I'm still not impressed. A supercharger to run a 12.9. My 02 Formula was alot cheaper and just as fast with just a few bolt ons.

I wasn't trying to impress anyone but myself and I have succeded

If you ask anyone that was out at Ennis last night they will tell you the Track conditions where anything but ideal. Like I said very few of the american muscle cars were doing that well not even your beloved Formula's.

As far as cost ...... you can buy my same set up . Stock 350Z Track with ATI Procharge for less then $33,000 ..... I for one think that is a beter buy then your new American whatever.

Nice times daddy Z... 12.9 at 108 is impressive for a 350Z. Ur time is 85-90% faster than a stock F-body thats for sure. I think ur car weighs more than 3300lbs because if u have 350rwhp u should be trapping over 112mph even with a 3500lbs race weight. My car used to trap 112mph with a 3680lbs race weight in the summer with only 348rwhp. Im really thinking of getting a G35 C and add this SC.... It will be an awsome daily driver.

Do you think he wasn't faster in the quarter because of the antisquat geometry of the suspension? I know the Z has a near 50/50 weight transfer between the front and the rear under acceleration. How would that affect the traction even with slicks or drag radials?
