Default Hot Rod TV and the Crashed Racing Z

Speed channel just showed on Hot Rod TV that Z that blew a tire at high speed from Silver Springs Nevada.

WOW that car was nice.....and F-ed!

They didn't mention it was a Z though. That must be one bad *** event to go to!

I fogot the guys name, but he was trying to break the 200 m.p.h. barrier in that car. Guess it didn't happen.

Actually, IIRC, he was going in excess of 340kmh (>200mph) when the purpose built tire came apart. If you watch the video that has been posted on this site several times (hint: search for Silver State Classic) it shows the speed somewhere near 350kmh.
