dyno section

Just a thought: under the engine section, people always ask about how much hp for each intake, exhaust, tp, hfc, and so on. As a response, everyone screams for the OP to go look up dynos. Maybe a dyno section should be made so that the dyno results are more easily found?

I actually like this idea...
year

5 at or 6pd man

The 350Z isn't all that responsive to mods in the first place. Thus, having a separate subforum that basically shows a graph and number that is similar to that of a stock 350Z's chart will be redundant. Plus, we can't have a subforum for every single little thing, can we?

Also, you should keep in mind that dyno is a tuning tool, not something you use to measure the exact amount of horsepower. Even if it were to be accurate in measuring power, there are other factors that change the graph (i.e., climate, dyno, calibration, etc).

Lastly, for the most part, if the person inquiring about particular mods do a search, dynos aren't exactly hard to find. At the very minimum, he/she will get feedback on whether the mod is worth its price and time, which in my opinion, is more valuable than a number spit out by a machine that should really be used for tuning purposes.

I have to agree with Mr. Admin on this one.

All dynos for N/A mods are pretty close. You will get different numbers from different dynos hands down.

Now it would not be such a bad idea for the F/I guys to post up dynos with all their different setups, but good luck getting them all to do it in an organized fashion.
