No more email notification ?

I looked in this section a couple of pages deep but found nothing on it . Why dont we get an email from this place when we get replies to threads and new PM's ????

There is an option. Go to the CP(contol panel), then Edit Options, then check the box that sends you emails when you recieve a PM...

I have the right boxes check in the options section . I used to get email notifications for replies and PM's . But ever since the site was taken over and reformated [ or what ever was done ] I no longer get the emails . Is there any fix for it ?

Let me have an admin look at you guy's account. I'll give an update when I find out something....

medstudent25: I have sent you a PM regarding your issue.

booger: Your account settings have indicated that you are set for Daily Notifications (instead of Instant Notifications which send you emails as posts are made into threads you have subscribed to). Is this how you wanted your notifications set?

I re-set it to instant notification.....I would like it that way please...THANKS !!!

Looks like it is now set to Instant Notifications now. Are you now getting emails regularly for subscribed threads that new posts are being made?

Yep, it stopped a while back when the site got jacked with IB. It hasn't worked since.

Weird. It seems to work for everybody, except for a select few. Maybe the site is weeding some people out on its own.

Wierd.

Try going to "Edit Profile" and verifying your email addy wasn't changed by accident. If it's still correct, try retyping it and saving it again. This might rectify the problem....

I moved from Omaha Ne . across the river to Council Bluffs Iowa . I was able to keep the same email address [ same IP Cox.net ] Would this make a diff. ??????

I've checked for no email notification and it keeps sending me notifications.
How do I stop this?
