Im late to this party, but I wanted to congratualte Adam for the unique build. Very nice, impressive powerband. Id love to run that car. Full wight 3200lb or so, it would have no issues going mid-high 12's @ 110mph....impressive NA performance and reliability!

thanks Alberto, and everyone else for their well wishes - greatly appreciated!

Did run into one slight snafu this weekend...the dreaded rear main seal leak that plagues so many built motors I guess we didn't take quite enough care in seating it properly, as its got a nice drip going (though admittedly, I also was a bit overfilled on the oil level). I am going to keep an eye on it during the next few days and see if it goes away since I've brought the oil down to proper level..if not, trans comes out (again!), and we'll replace the seal...good times, good times

I really like how you painted the covers. Great to finally see info. on your build. I knew you were doing something. Very nice curve. Are you going to take it to the track? Road and strip?

Also would a Nismo clutch be good for a NA build of this caliber and poss. to 320-350 land?

Congrats Adam and Z1 crew Well get the big NA numbers one day...

Chris

we'll do some track days with it maybe later on in the year...right now, we're doing new body stuff and paint this week into next to get it ready for Hot Import Nights. I might get a chance to do some 1/4 mile runs at some point but the tracks are kinda far from us (about 2 hours), and honestly, I can think of a million things I'd rather do than to pay $50 at Englishtown to get maybe 3 runs, after trecking 2 hours there and 2 + hours home. I'd much rather spend an extra hour, go to Lime Rock, and get tons more seat time, and do what I love

I would suspect the NISMO clutch would work just fine, yes!

Also, their knock-sensing system might be superior to the Z33's. You never know. You should never say because such and such a car does this, mine should be able to as well. Every car is different.
Oh yeah I agree with u totally. I was just saying that on the Z33, having a 11:1 CR like Adams is awesome. Even 12:1 would make it an amazing NA track car.

Adam those red valve covers would definatley make Ferrari drivers jealous. They look soo good. Cant wait to see it in the engine bay with the Cosworth plenum(as soon as they release the thing).
