Here's a video of my car on the dyno at the Performance Factory. I should have moved farther away from the front door to keep the light out, but I didn't think of it at the time. Thought some of you might want to see my G on the dyno.

Very nice power from not going up in displacement. But then again the HR motor is more advanced for sure!! Nice build. We should all get together for a shoot out one day...it'd be a concert of NAs!

That's a pretty big difference from a revup....

Maybe June next year would be a good time...when the temperature is close to reasonable...

I'd like to have torque numbers, too. Unfortunately the Performance Factory dyno doesn't currently give torque figures.

Hope this helps visulaize your torque, i did this up using your tire size and final drive mentioned on your car domain, it seems this dyno only revved to 7400rpm or so but you mention going to 8000rpm, but its the only way it makes any sense to me, and the TQ values seem correct!

No plans on adding meth...

If I ever add anything, it will be nitrous. That's why I used the HKS head gaskets and ARP main and head bolts. I don't know if I ever will... just wanted to be ready in case.

Currently planning a change on the intake side of the engine. The first dyno runs indicated that the engine doesn't get enough air, so I'm working on that.

i think you would have been able to run a higher compression ratio on pump gas if you were running/tuned for water meth. its just a pain in the *** to keep the bottle full if you do a lot of driving.

really, nitrous? not a fan, but keep us posted id like to see how that turns out

good luck, i love the build

I spent quite a bit of time talking to MackZ (nice fellow) at the PRI show in Orlando.

I would love to go with independent throttle bodies. They would be perfect for my car from a performance point of view. They are designed to run in the perfect rpm range for my G.

I'm just not sure I am up for all the issues with a cable throttle release and air cleaner system... I dunno... Still thinking about them...

revup lower plenum and crawford upper not getting you enough air? Do you have dual aftermarket widebands installed (stock too slow)? If you do, it would be very interesting to log bank to bank difference as rpms rise...

I have a single aftermarket wide band, not two.

I'm not really sure what is keeping the engine from getting enough air. Jeremy removed my K&N air cleaner and the engine made more horsepower. Then he took off the air box itself and hp increased again. That makes me think a larger throttle body and bigger intake pipe would really help. Even with the filter and air box off, the engine was drawing a vacuum at wide open throttle.

Jeremy is also not a fan of my Crawford intake. He said that they all seem to hit a wall on the dyno. I'm thinking about getting a Cosworth intake, but I have Deatschwerks 500 cc injectors. The Deatschwerks web site says their injectors are the same size in every way, but I haven't been able to find any actual physical dimensions. I don't want to have to add an adapter plate under the Cosworth manifold because my injectors don't clear.
