Right now the goal is to assemble it and not have it blow up. If I forgot something let me know. I am trying to give people an idea of cost for an N/A build if you are a bottom feeder like me and buy used parts and have the patience to wait for bargains. Anyone have any questions or would like to see a picture of something just ask away.

Reason: update
The one pic is fresh home from the machine shop. I have since cleaned it twice. Before installing the bearings shown for measuring for clearance I wiped down the block housings with acetone just to remove any residues of any kind. The other pic is just oil from the main bolts as you have to put oil on the threads and seats of the bolts. I have to say there is a lot of not so glamorous parts of this; for example cleaning the crank, block, and measuring everything three maybe four times.
nice list! i'm very interested in seeing how this build works out for you. i was hoping to do a build next year, but with the economy it might get pushed of for some time.
Cleaned the decks with a green scrubby pad(the one you can barely get stuff off your dishes with) and simple clean. It required a lot of elbow grease but I didn't want to disturb the sealing surfaces of the decks. Also note the machine work for using the HR gaskets.
This is not going to be a one week and done deal. I am just a normal guy in my garage, using whatever available free time to do this. But I am taking requests for pics and or explanations of stuff.
6K to stay N/A and perhaps pick up 60 hp doesn't seem worth the money and time....you will be unhappy with the results shortly and go FI. You may as well plan for it during your build.

I can go fi and drive a grenade without a built engine. I am building the car for track days and to be reliable. This car is already faster than me on a road course and na power is easier for a road course. I chose 264 cams because the car will still idle decent, not loose mid range, and I wanted to be different where is the bc 264 N/A build. Also they were cheap, just like me.
