Question Best Bang Per Buck N/A Upgrades

I need advice from you guys concerning my 05 track.

First of all I hate the first two gears in it, the car just revvs and moves slow as if a clutch in a normal car is messed (but my clutch is fine...).

The only mod I have done is the pop charger. I am soon going to buy the PowerLab spacer for it but I thought I would ask first about that revving (I am a noob in the 350z details, and this forum is so huge to research...).

Can a plenum fix that problem? For example the Crawford one? And what other N/A upgrades do you guys recommend?

the spacer is def the best bang for your buck na mod. 200-300 dollars for 10hp in a z. very hard to do.

I am going with PowerLab spacer since I wanna keep the OEM strut bar.

But what about an aftermarket plenum? What do you guys recommend for an N/A upgrade? Is it worth it?

I don't want to get into something dramatic as cams for now, since I am in Qatar and my belated grandpa can do a better job than the local idiot mechanics!

Forget the headers, waste of time and money. Go with a popcharger, plenum spacer, and test pipes. I was able to trap 105mph with just those three mods on my 03 Touring.

4.08 final drive.

Does more for acceleration than all the basic bolt ons combined.

best bang for the buck is save your money in a high yield CD til you can afford FI. Anything else will just make more noise and still have you beat by a stock mazda3 speed.

Also, MD spacer is one of top brand. Shoot PM to tony for more info http://my350z.com/forum/members/43383-hydrazine.html

If you want to rev up faster, search under light weight flywheel.

lol true. Well I work from 8 morning till 9 evening. My work takes much of my time and away from my hobbies.

And I have another priority on my calendar for fun and the 350Z is not it. I usually go for a more tougher project, one which has no "ready" aftermarket parts.

My priority is a 1994 Subaru SVX. The Z is just a daily driver which I do not really like (sardine can) but it I would take it anytime on the others in its segment.

Sorry guys, each to his own thoughts and tastes.

If you don't like it... why not save money by not modifying anything on it?

Because it is my daily driver and I would like to have some fun from time to time until my other project is done. And that project is gonna take some time to wrap up since everything is custom made and take a lot of time to complete...
