Default 334 whp VQ35DE NA

Stock Manifold. Gutted. No name brand plenum spacer. The more volume the better. Enlarged neck with less angle. Required slight bending of firewall around compartment that encloses the brake fluid reservoir etc. Easy to do.

3.5" intake tube and filter with uprev maf. aluminum housing welded into tube.

I chose the NWP throttle body because its larger and plug and play. There have been a lot of problems trying to incorporate other throttle bodies and I want reliability. The NWP throttle body could be ported as well if I decided to go that far. So far it's worked well through lots of abuse.

Big air filter.

Fab work done locally by Cyrious Garageworks.

Most people know about the motor. JE 12:1 pistons, JWT C10/ C9 cams, ported heads, longtube headers, now has 3.5" straight exhaust. R35 GTR injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump. Tuned with up rev on stock ECu. Lots more little things. It was developed by Sasha Anis back in ~ 2007 to 2012 time frame.

Back story. http://www.superstreetonline.com/how...-engine-build/

It was recently completely serviced. A shop in Kitchener Ontario Canada by the name of R Division went over it with a fine tooth comb. R Division had the tuning done at Innovative Tuning in Buffalo on the Mustang Dyno. the rev limiter is now set at 7900

So independent verification that this power is possible on the DE.

Amazing build. I love the sound. I have to hand it to you, that takes a lot of cojones to gut your car up like that and customize everything. I would never do that to my Z, but I'm glad people like you do it. I live vicariously through you.

334 whp on a NA DE is a massive achievement. I just installed some Tomei V2 headers and I'm hoping my re-tune puts me in the 270 range.

Congrats Mike and be sure to speed safely my friend!

Have you started a thread or going to ?
I'd like to see before/after numbers with the Tomei, I'm tempted to do this (+cams etc) in the winter.

Some quick rows through the gears, short shifting to check tune.

I'm sure you could one day. We don't live too far apart. I'm sure I'll want to run mid ohio after I've run all my tracks here at home.

Nice! This is making me question my TT build, I'm really leaning more towards the road race than drag....

Got any pics of the custom plenum? Are you using non-rev lower? What fuel are you running?

Your curve up top is just like mine. It flattens out from like ~6300 all the way to redline. Or did you tune it like that due to HP restrictions for the class you're running? My HP is pretty much the same from ~6300 to 7400 (redline on mine). There is something restricting it somewhere and I am leaning towards the intake and I bet that is what yours is too unless you tuned it like that. Especially since you have headers and open exhaust just like I do.

I feel like mine is like that because I am using the stock plenum and revup lower. It is modded, but I have a feeling if I had something that was a more direct shot into the intake the power would not drop off like that. Like ITBs or even the Kinetix.

Yes, in my build thread etc.
yes.
110 Octane

It's not tuned that way. it starts to starve for air even with the modifications.
