Default New to this site and got sme questions to ask

I was wondering whats the max power i can get out of the vq35de witout having to slap a turbo on.dont want to deal with the turbo complications and dont want more then 400hp.help me out ppl im struggling lol.was thinkin of possibly doing a swap but i need suggestions ima rook at this

You other post said you'd be happy with 350hp. Now it's 400??? Either way, 250 is what you have, and what you're stuck with.

With heads, cams, higher compression, long tubes, full exhaust, better intake, and tune on e85 you may be able to hit 350

The DE is slow, so you'll either have to learn to live with it or get a new car

we all know he wont break 300, i bet it is a tired old high mileage motor and he spent $6k on the car.

Default I'm not to tech savvy please help

So I was looking at some sites and they had long block, short block and other upgrade kits for the 350z can someone please tell me if they just beef up the motor to hold more power? Does it add more power? Or both? http://www.importpartspro.com/niin1.html the kits come from this place IPP. Sorry but i know only limited info about cars and trying to learn. Thanks for any help.
