Turbo in a track car? Guaranteed issues with reliability and overheating!
Reliability, how so? I plan to tune it so that my torque curve doesn't go too far above 400ft*lbs at any point. 370z internals are pretty stout. Will likely throw forged rods in though. 10psi springs for the waste gates and then I'll pull power by closing the cam a little or by pulling ign timing. My bearing clearances are already slightly looser than what the FSM recommends for a new motor. 10w-40 amsoil signature should hold up to the abuse just fine. Trans, driveshaft, and diff will be fine. Driveshaft shop axles will be looked into if I ever turn one of mine into a twizzler
Overheating, I plan to do a secondary radiator in the rear running off the heater core nipples. Will have its own pump and fan setup to circulate coolant better. If I still have heating issues then, I'll try to fab a custom 3" radiator or something
