brand new 08 base here
just traded in my tiburon for an 08 350z base. im going to miss my old car, had it for 3 years and it went through 2 different NA setups and then i supercharged it. decided tons of power+fwd=fail so i brought it back to stock then limped its blown piston ringed self to nissan and got myself a z. its not as fast in a straight line (yet) but definitely handles, brakes, and just overall feels way more solid than the tibby ever did.
i'll search later but if anyone wants to just throw me the basic info on how long the break in period is on the hr and how it should be broken in (***** out romping or keep it under 4k rpms) i'd greatly appreciate it...also the best oil brand...i usually stick with mobil 1 full synthetic for all my cars but i've heard these are supposed to only be fed old school dino oil so i'd like to check on that, also when the first oil change should be done.
Thanks a lot, can't wait to get some paychecks and start with the mods
pics!

There is a thread on here with oil analysis results. Search for it, it has very good info. From what I remember Pennzoil plat 10-30 and GC 0-30 had very good numbers for the easy to find oils

Congrats.
If you stay NA, honestly any oil is gonna be fine, as long as you change it regularly. Oil has come a long way over the years.
But if if makes you happy, you can nuke it out all day with the guys here. But in then end you are gonna be more or less just as protected no matter what you get.
FWIW i use Amsoil 5-30. And change it every every six months, since i never drive it enough to even begin to get close to the reccomended change intervals.
