The dream all started with the first leaked pictures and data leak on the car. Everyone (including myself) was saying that they needed to see the car in the flesh. Well seeing it in the flesh came sooner for me than a lot people in the nation. That’s because Sacramento, CA was third on the leg for the Follow the Z North America Rally. Two were being driven across nation to hi performance shops and only one Nissan dealer: Sacramento’s Nissan of Elk Grove.

After that day, the bro fell in luv with the 370z and the plan was for me to sell my 05 Silver Stone and take over his 06 Inter Lagos Fire. The bro would get the new 370z and I would get to pick out the color because in 1-2 years I would get it and he would buy another one…..so as the excerpts continue below…..

It practically sold within a few hours, even though the transaction took a few days. Sold to a good person (Phong) who will take care of the car and enjoy it for many years to come. We were given a surprise: the buyers credit union wanted a smog test….oh….sheeeet..with a Nismo catback exhaust and Nismo Cold Air Intake…..it’s gonna fail……it passed!.
And then the real kicker my bro said he told the dealer to order the Platinum Graphite and also the Red. So up goes for sale the 06 Inter Lagos Fire.

Funny thing is, both buyers live within 2 miles of me and I will see the cars at the local super markets. Phong who bought mine has already gone on a run with us and plans on more GTG’s and runs. The lady that bought the bro’s car is good behind the wheel, and the car is her.
Next was keeping it a surprise for the Sac crew and ZONC members on the upcoming Contra Costa Run. John ( 06CPV35) was the only person that new at first of the Platinum Graphite 370z. Then Phong (xvtec fan), Eddie (Nismo916) and Oliver (LostCloud) all whom attended the run.
We were going to pull the wool over the eyes of Jeremy (JZ33) and Alan (inqui-Z-tor ) who were going to meet up at a caravan spot but not make the run. More excerpts below.

So here are the pics of delivery day and on our first and second meet. The bro’s red 370z did not get here until Tuesday night 3/24/09. And mine was here on 3/12/09, so you know how I felt when his car was not here. I let him drive the car everyday all day until his car arrived. The surprise the salesman and I played on the bro was priceless. We told him on a voicemail while in Sams Club that the car was not going to be here in time for the Stockton Meet on Sat 3/28/09. The bro blew a gasket, it was such a let down and disappointment. The dealer had just received the car off the trailer from Eugene Or, and he drove it over to Sam’s Club and surprised the bro when he walked out the door. It brought tears to his eyes.
Contra Costa Run 3/15/090 two days after I got mine and also the bros b-day. The bro is on the left behind the 370z.
Stockton Meet 3/28/09 both cars were on the road, blowing away the Sac Crew. It started at Panera Bread in ZVille where we surprised JZ33 (Jeremy) and SexyZGirl (Luoli) along with three other G peeps. Then off to Natomas where we met up with M1r4cL3 (Adam) and SteverZ32 (Steve) then onward to ZHaven where we met up a large caravan with inqui-Z-tor (Alan), Rufio (David), Fairlady916 (Huy), Fuegostyle (Steve) and at the meet we were joined by Bill and Tiffany from Mountain View, who’s 350z’s are behind in the pic below.

Thanks, it was the surprise of a lifetime. A good friend and the salesman (Monty) helped out a lot with the surprises. For the bro’s surprise on the red Z34 we actually had a couple of different surprises lined up, but got changed two times with locating the car and timing and such. The bro was really on a roller coaster with getting his car.

Dayuuum... That is pretty epic, but I am confused... Are you the chick in all of the pics?
The chic was the model for the Follow the Z Tour, I was the photographer and also got her to pose in front of my old 05 Z33. I am the guy standing next to the PG 370z at the deeler in Chico.
