Got me another 350z!
Hey guys/gals
My wife and I used to have an '06 350z Touring that was her "fun" car, even though I drove it more than she did. We ended up trading it in for a truck earlier this year but I missed the go-cart handling and decent mpg so much I bought another.
This one is an '03 Base with 146k miles with some minor cosmetic issues that I will be fixing. I only paid $3900 for it, motor runs like a champ too. It will serve as my daily for the next 6 months or so until our house is built, then it might become a track car. My twin turbo cobra doesn't turn corners very well.
The wife held the mod veto power over the last one but this is all mine. I know you can't string much out of these NA-wise, I just want to refresh everything and improve power output where I can. See you around the board!
Only pic for now, I'll take more when it is cleaned up.

Thanks everyone! Changed the oil, degreased motor, realigned intake box, cleaned MAF, replaced some missing bolts (minor stuff), and even programmed an extra key fob I had left over from our last 350z today. Next up is new tires (Cooper RS3-A), new windshield, changing trans and rear diff fluid, then I need to visit a pick-and-pull for miscellaneous stuff and hopefully a good condition drivers seat since this one has a ripped side bolster.

My 08 with 57k miles has a tear in the side bolster too, so don't feel too bad.
I'm at work so I can't see pictures, but good luck with your "updating" and keep us posted on mods!

Haha they're just fun little cars that can be driven and parked anywhere, something I missed driving my damn Silverado as a daily. Plus for $4k it was the most entertaining option on Craigslist.

Nope clean title. KBB private party value in "Good" condition is $6k, after some negotiation we agreed on $3900 due to the miles and minor cosmetic stuff. Pays to show up with a few friends called Benjamin!

Sound like you make deal like a pro. When you flash the cash, it is definitely tough to say no. That is one reason you can negotiate a little better. People don't call, "The cash is king" for no reason.
