Default bought my first 350z

I'm Timmy, 20yrs old. Just bought an 04' touring; my very first car with my own money...and pretty proud of it.

has 129k, bought for 7k. all stock, in good condition besides a few tears on the top and a leak on passenger side window, and power seat problems.

Here's what I'm planning to do to it(i'm not a very experienced car person, but I'm willing to learn, I've been reading all over this forums), so if any experienced owners could put some input, that'll be great:

1. I just ordered a front lip purely for looks

2. I plan on sewing the tears with fishing line, gluing the seam, and black fabric tape to fix the tears, then use black top gel on it(any other suggestions/advices would be appreciated)

3. I've searched all over forums on how to fix the powers. Saw a video of a guy cleaning his power seat motors on a g35, so I plan on following that video (again, suggestions would be great)

4. Then I plan on fixing the window leak with black silicone(idk if thats a good idea, has anyone tried this method before? I read on here that silicone is bad on the rubber...?)

5. Also aftermarket air intake, exhaust systems, tires+rims(suggestion on a brand+link to product?)

6. I've also ordered white LED for the interior, to replace the old yellow stock bulbs in the front and trunk space

7. A double din stereo system+maybe speakers? (any suggestions+link to product would be nice too)

8. And finally which online 350z shop do you order from that you think is a good/trustworthy? I've looked at a few so far, but I'm skeptical.

If anyone could give advice/suggestions; and number which part they're referring to. It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

My advice is to start saving immediately to replace the top. From what I read here there is no "fixing" the top permanently, it has to be replaced.

In my opinion, that should be a higher priority than the other stuff you have listed.

Good luck!

Hey Timmy, welcome to the forum and congratulations on purchasing your Roadster. There are quite a few good places to buy from, each selling things that are different from the other shops, so there's not really a Wal-Mart one stop shop to go to.

Have fun with fitment.

2. I plan on sewing the tears with fishing line, gluing the seam, and black fabric tape to fix the tears, then use black top gel on it(any other suggestions/advices would be appreciated)

Not going to happen. Buy a new top.

3. I've searched all over forums on how to fix the powers. Saw a video of a guy cleaning his power seat motors on a g35, so I plan on following that video (again, suggestions would be great)

Try cleaning the motors
If that doesn't work, replace them

4. Then I plan on fixing the window leak with black silicone(idk if thats a good idea, has anyone tried this method before? I read on here that silicone is bad on the rubber...?)

Putting a bandaid on the problem isn't going to fix it.

5. Also aftermarket air intake, exhaust systems, tires+rims(suggestion on a brand+link to product?)

Search. There are plenty of resources on this site. Asking something that has been gone over hundreds of times is only going to get you flamed. FYI - we have no clue what your goals are.

6. I've also ordered white LED for the interior, to replace the old yellow stock bulbs in the front and trunk space

7. A double din stereo system+maybe speakers? (any suggestions+link to product would be nice too)

Again, we have no idea what you are looking for. Search.

8. And finally which online 350z shop do you order from that you think is a good/trustworthy? I've looked at a few so far, but I'm skeptical

If you don't like shops, order directly from vendors. What exactly are you looking for?
Cars are personal. You have to figure a lot of this out on your own. I can easily come up with $7K worth of parts for a NA build. But I highly doubt that's what you're looking for based on your posts thus far.

He makes a point.I mean every one knows what Google is, especially for parts.look up other people's builds and parts they used.
