Default Whats up guys?

Its about time I made an account. After being out of the Z Community for a while I decided it was time to get another.

My first Z was a 2006 Base Silverstone, 6 Speed, Carbon Fiber Hood, K-Sport Coil-overs,Rays G-Games Barracudas (19x9.5 +22), Kinetic Intake Plenum, Short Ram Intake, Under-drive Pullies, MotoRdyne Shockwave Exhaust, All Poly Bushings, LSD, Lightweight Flywheel, Stage 2 Clutch, Short Shifter, Tuned on Osiris etc..

I'm sure there is more I'm missing like sways, camber arms and such, but long story short, the car had 180k+ miles on it, Motor 30k and Trans 50k and I planned on keeping it forever...

UNTIL one day I got some work done at a local shop that SPECIALIZES in 350z/G35/VQ Applications, Boasts of VQ45 Swaps and the like. I normally do ALL my own work however against my better judgement I took the car there, after about an hour discussion over the phone, for some very remedial work. ONLY because in my field of work I have very little free time. The car was done late, plagued with Electrical Issues, Transmission Problems, and Missing Parts. PM me for specifics, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR IN AZ.

I now have a Custom Matte Silverstone 06 Grand Touring, Auto (Unfortunately, but after the last experience I really wasn't willing to deal with the CD series trans again. Maybe swap in the future..) I plan on doing the valve-body upgrade, and a lot of the other modifications I personally did to my last Z. Nice to meet you guys!

*I am also totally down for some local meets, wrenching, helping anyone in the area on my few days off. (Ex-Ford Master Service Tech)*

Cliffs: New Z, Old Z With Lots of Time and Money In It Ruined By Local Shop, Plan on building my new Z, Nice To Meet You Guys.

I will post pics later for sure, and to be honest I researched and researched shops. Ended up choosing a small, single owner, East Valley shop. "Reservations and Drift Builds Only" Had several NICE caged 240SX, a legit 180SX and a 240 Getting the 45 swap as well. Just letting everyone know not everything is as it seems.
