Default New to the forum

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and I've owned an 08 350z Touring in Carbon Silver with the Burnt Orange leather for a little over a year now. I've had over 12 years of experience with the car scene and racing. I've been road racing Datsun 510s since I was 18ish. In addition to the 510s, my previous vehicles have ranged from a fully built big turbo SRT to an ej257'd GC8 and everything in between. I do all mine own work, minus the machining ovbiously. I finally decided I wanted a little higher end ride that I'll probably end up road racing in addition to the 510s.

I'm no stranger to tuning and doing some big forced induction projects on the Turbo spectrum, however, I'm going in the direction of a procharger setup for the Z...... so if anyone has or knows of someone getting rid of a setup please let me know. I'm in the market and have the $$$ for a used kit.

I look forward to picking some of your brains about my future endeavours with the Z.

Cheers!!!

Sounds like you have a lot of car experience. I don't have much but I do know the 08 350z very well. If "procharger set up" you mean intakes, if you replace the stock ones with a used set odds are that you will loose power. You have dual intakes that get ONLY fresh outside air with some rem affect from underneath the car.

If you are determined to change them, I would contact a dealer like the one above or someone near where you live and ask for intakes that are better than the stock ones. They might know a set that's better, I don't know of one.

The first & I thing the best thing I've done with my 08z was get test tubes & an (Osiris) up-rev tune. Good luck.

Never was interested but now find that real strange since even the 370's have superchargers. Then for sure there are no used units
