Hey all, just got my Z about a month ago and I'm super enthused that I have her. I was a previous owner of 3 different 240sx's and couldn't wait to get into a Z. I'm also newb at forums so if I ask newb questions, I at least gave you fair warning My plan is keeping my Z as stock under the hood as possible at this point in time, but I have made some visual upgrades as follows:
Carbon fiber eye lids
Carbon fiber door pillar covers
Carbon fiber gas door
5% tinted windows
20% dark smoked vinyl tail light and reverse light tint
Tinted front bumper reflectors
Plasti dipped wheels to matte black

Not bad, I plati dipped my wheels last night but I have the best OEM wheels Idk if the have a specific name? But they are they 5 spoke 18's made them matte black with a quick layer of plati-dip glossifier over em, they are looking good...
But your kinda going rice on it... This is the first visual mod I've done to it yet, everything I've done so far is performance. Don't get me wrong these cars are "fast" already but they look good already too. Function>Form all day.
I only plasti dipped cause previous owner was addicted to curbs apparently... Didn't want new rims though cause these are already the style I like, never liked the silver though...
Anyways welcome to the forum, fore warning, research before asking noob questions. Ask what hasn't been asked yet.

I wasn't sure of what year the z came in Interlagos Fire, from a certain light it looks like Brickyard but in a different light it looks completely different, there is a thread on the forum about all of the different colors.

Thanks!
Thanks for the welcomes. Yeah I did dipped my wheels and I actually just recently dipped the whole car matte black. I'm going to have to re do the dip because the rattle cans don't turn out as good as putting it through a spray gun. The stock color is the Brickyard she is right on that one. Also I love how fast the car is now, plus I don't have money for performance upgrade at this point in time. The visuals I've done and I don't think its leaning towards rice (to much anyways)

Not too shabby. Many here will not like it just so you're aware.
My question is how come you avoided doing the handles and emblems?
And just a recommendation... You should get some spacers for those wheels. That would help the appearance a lot.
P.S. How many cans and coats did you do?
