People say oh it's just a piece of metal blah blah but the truth is, it's something that I use and feel every time I'm in the car and it's not just aesthetic. A weighted **** really transforms the shifting feel.

Thanks! I love it and it comes with the black plastic ring at the bottom to make it a clean fit for the 350. The quality is fantastic and I'm comparison to other *****, the price isn't awful at $110 bucks.

I actually took my 4" extender to the strip and missed the HELL out of second which is usually an easy pull for me. Luckily for me I packed the Tommy Kaira in the passenger side netting and swapped it out between passes. I'm hoping to take the Z to a road course this weekend and want to try it out there so it will be less of a reach whereas drag is just plowing through the gears. I am pretty terrible at launching, so the best I did was 13.995. This was my second time at the strip so I think I did decent.
Here's a picture of the extender and ****. (you can't see it very well in the picture but I have leather shift boot/ebrake boot with red stitching-hence the red ball... oh, and red wheels )

Congrats on the new Z. I just purchased my first 350Z on Monday. It's an 05 Touring and I have to agree the balance and feel of the car is amazing. They truly made this car a great machine. I cant wait to do some mods and make it even better. Again, congrats and hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
