Default Silver 2007 NISMO on Ebay..

Searching for a 2007-2008 Silver Nismo at a realistic price has been a long road, on going in fact.

Well I stumbled on this auction today '07 very low mileage..(26046035223)..

here is snippet of the item description:

"2007 NISSAN NISMO 350 Z

IF you missed out on the less than 1500 350 NISMO Z cars only built in 2007 well here is your chance to get one that was put a side! Purchased from Round Rock Nissan and sticker priced at: $38,885.00. These were selling for $3,000.00-$5,000.00 over sticker! This one is SILVER ALLOY with CARBON / CHARCOAL interior. All Nismo's have the RED stiching! And here is the best part... it's only got 75 miles on it! Its flawless! I bought (3) of these... Silver, Red & Black. I'm going to let the fully loaded MINT Silver one go to help the kids! (James: You owe me a steak dinner at Salt Grass because you dared me to sell it and here it is!) The car has been in my warehouse since delivery! KELLY BLUE BOOK on this car is over $32,000.00 but I don't think it accounts of the 75 miles! Well if your a NISSAN fan let the bidding begin! NO RESERVE and starting bid at only $29,000.00!"

So I emailed the guy..asking why on "best offer" option and to let him know that 2008 Nismos at dealerships are not selling for the sticker price and it he would take cash offers..

Anyway here is his reply:
"I did a search and only found (2) Nismo's. One on Ebay: 250477817890 (you might want to look at that one if the MILAGE is OK with you along with the fact that its NOT stock, and I found one on Auto Trader with 23,000 miles for $28,000. Kelly Blue Book says its worth $32,450.00... so I did do a little research. FYI: "NISMO" 350 Z's were on manufacrtured in 2007 not 2008. While they did have left over units in 2008 they were in fact 2007 models. They started anouncing the GTR which I think killed the value of the car. I own a WHITE, RED & SILVER models. I traded the RED one to a DEALERSHIP and got $28,000.00 (2300 miles on it) Yes I would entertain cash offer... if you bid on the car its expected to be cash. If your asking will I except less than $29,000.00 NOT RIGHT NOW! I appreciate your interest!"

Arg... what is the deal? lol..
As he is not a dealer, I still think 29k is a bit high..but not by much.

SOUNDS like a scam to me, just does not sound right at all. there is a 2008 red nismo here in wilmington NC with 6 thousand miles on it for 33,900, its for sale at stevenson mazda, it looks perfect. really low prices of these cars make no sense to me, not because I own one, just because some nismos I have seen on ebay go for what regualar z's sell for, when I take my car to nissan even the salespeople ask me if I put the kit on my car myself WTF! IDIOTS! just be cautious when buying one of these cars I guess.

Personally I don't think today's market is a fair identicator of what the Nismo 350Z is worth. I saw a PPW one on the street yesterday. It still is an eye catcher and I have only seen two on the street since buying mine. There are relatively few of these cars made over the two year span. I am keeping mine for the long haul. People who have tracked or AutoX them rave about the car. True Z car nuts are going to want these cars in the future.

33K is too much even for one with zero miles. 29K for the '07 I posted about is too much, but its close in my mind.
Its def. a legit NISMO and by the pics posted is in great shape if not perfect.

^ $29K for a 75 mile car seems like a decent deal.

The guy must not know very much on the production numbers, since there were MORE than 1500 made for both 2007 and 2008, not just 2007. What a dumbass. Plus, what does he mean by "i'm letting the fully loaded one go", when nismo 350's didn't come with any factory options?

I sent him a little message giving him a little school lesson.

I picked my nismo up in May. It had 8500 miles on the clock and I got it for $24,900 out the door. I think you can do better than 29k. At the time, I also looked at a red one located in Texas that had slightly less mileage but the price plus shipping was going to be closer to 30k out the door. I think you could talk him down just a hair more. I think some of these cars go so cheaply on ebay and autotrader because of obviously a terrible market and economy, but also because sometimes these dealers that take them in on trade really don't know to what extent the exclusivity of the car truly is. Remember, they want your business more than you want the car, because you can always find the same car elsewhere. Play ball hard enough and they'll come down. Good luck!

No one is going to pay what he's asking.

Just another douchebag that apparently hasn't turned on the T.V. in the last 9 months to find out that the economy is in the toilet and people don't sh*t money anymore.
