With that being said...my destructive daughter is being put into daycare this or next month!
Dads know what that means...more time to ourselves lol especially on week days.
My main goals for the car:
Install OEM wing and plan a solid replacement/upgrade
Install rear diffuser
Install 3" intake pipes to complement the porting I did
I have a few more things to do that's realistic for one year but not worth mentioning

Don't hold your breath on that one...he's spent a lot of money! Money brings that type of interest, and validates your commitment to something. I'm sure if you are resilient enough about the next Z, you'll be showered with special treatment!
I hope he's happy with it after entering an idea that progressive (GTR) I doubt anyone could be content. The GTR is an amazing supercar IMHO and what they've done since debut is remarkable. It just gets better and Mr. Kazutoshi Mizuno hopefully left that urge to do outdo the previous model with the next!
I'm just over here tryna build a true Nismo Z...

As for our cars, I'm in the same boat. I think with it sitting here is making me mod it more. I thought at this point it would be done, but I was wrong. lol There is still alot I want to do with the car. Of course most of these mods is solely for the future Znationals track days and Zdayz event when I move back to Atlanta. I'm surprised how I've gotten different opportunities here than I would have if I was back in Atlanta. For instance, I've mentioned PPE is 30 minutes away from me. Overall, I think Nissan has just scratched the surface when they produced our cars years back. I think there is still more to be discovered and more parts to be developed. Look at the R34, that car still has new parts coming out. If you check out Speedhunters, Do Luck has made a new ignition system for the car. There are very few shops/companies here in the U.S. who I think still want to further progress the platform.

Idk, my problem is their attempt to reach a more "luxurious" style of performance. The new GTRs , unless track addition, are receiving lower spring rates, more sound deadening material and higher overall curb weights. It's def hurt the performance side of things, especially on the head-to-head battles the auto media has put together.
The Nismo GTR while amazing, I just dont think it's worth the price tag. I'd much rather go for a used Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 or something of the like

Your current or new wing ??
Yea the Z34 makes me cry at night, and what I meant is if you inquired about the next gen Z as much as he did for the next GTR you'll receive the same treatment! Especially after being a previous Nismo Z33 owner.
No doubt the JDM market is going to bring us the goodies...it's still pretty expensive for a Z33 over there, the USDM market is pretty much done. Lots of potential in the Nismo Z33 and Z33 in general. I mean so much more over
the S chassis it's not even funny when the JDM garages start to really play with the z33
Is his GT-R numbered?
Agreed...Glad I'm not the only one noticing Nissan relabeling, dividing and soften up their models to suite various audiences to appeal to more commercial buyers and not enthusiasts!

*I think we're starting to scratch the surface with the HR. CJM is producing another intake manifold for our cars I believe. Unfortunately, there are only a few still playing around with our chassis. Revolfe in Japan is one of them.
Is his GT-R numbered?
*Yes it is. Plaque and everything like our cars.

...well I've been home for two weeks already ! Time flies when you're due to go back on deployment next year !
Yes, another deployment in a years time!
That means only one thing !
Mod faster !
Brought a few things in preparation for the time I want to do!
Recently move my family closer to my new base , which actually is on base this time slightly smaller but still have a garage. I'll post more pics as it comes together but it's set to be a better garage all around.
Here is the car as it stands, fired right up! Had to air up the tires and get a new battery but other than that it's just as I left it!

Welcome back KingBaby. I was just on Oahu this past weekend and I'm always on the lookout for Nismos. I didn't see any unfortunately, but did get to see a GT3 and a couple GT-R's driving around. I know it's common for the Oahu folk, but us neighbor islanders don't see crap! Also went to the new K1 Speed Indoor Kart Racing out Kapolei side. Good times.
Getting a larger air compressor like yours is something I've been looking at for some time now. Good for home and car improvements.
Keep us posted on this year's mods!
